SOUTHERN SOUL & SONG IS A MONTHLY CONCERT series (September 2017–February 2018) featuring a lineup of renowned artists performing in downtown Augusta, Georgia, at the historic Imperial Theatre.

The Southern Soul & Song concert series was founded in 2003 by Kevin Grogan, director of the Morris Museum of Art, as a vehicle to expand the mission of the Morris Museum of Art, the first museum in the country devoted to the art and artists of the American South.

"Southern Soul & Song is directly related to the museum's interpretation of Southern culture in all its forms. The Morris strives to preserve the region's cultural legacy while enhancing public understanding and appreciation of the South," commented Kevin Grogan.

The series brings both the rising stars and legends of bluegrass, country, roots, blues, and Americana music to the Augusta area. Among past series performers are Doc Watson, Ricky Skaggs, Del McCoury, the Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Patty Loveless, the Carolina Chocolate Drops, Junior Brown, the Steep Canyon Rangers, and Mike Farris & the Roseland Rhythm Revue, just to name a few.
